The ACA2K network made its mark this week at the Nineteenth Session of the WIPO Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR 19). Supported by Geneva-based research organisation IQsensato, ACA2K members Perihan Abou Zeid of Egypt and Tobias Schonwetter of South Africa conducted a private briefing for SCCR delegates from African nations and distributed copies of ACA2K Geneva Briefing Paper 3. As well, Schonwetter read out a statement on behalf of IQsensato and ACA2K to the SCCR.
